When I think about the people who’ve truly impacted my journey — not just as an athlete, but as a person — Annie stands out in the most profound way. Before working with Annie, I thought that because I was a plant-based athlete I was eating “healthy enough.” I trained hard, showed up consistently, and did what I believed was right — but something was always missing. I’d fade in the final stretch and struggle with energy dips. From our first consultation, Annie approached everything differently. She didn’t hand me a generic meal plan or cut out entire food groups. Instead, she asked detailed questions about my training schedule, race distances, blood work, eating habits, work, home life and goals. Annie helped me align my nutrition with my training — from dialling in my pre-race meals to getting my carbs and hydration right during long runs. She taught me that food is not the enemy; it’s fuel. It’s support. It’s power. Recovery was another game changer. Eating properly after sessions — and understanding why it mattered — meant I bounced back faster and felt ready for the next workout. In just under a week, my body became stronger without sacrificing strength or feeling depleted. What makes Annie so special isn’t just her knowledge — though her expertise is incredible. It’s the way she empowers people. She doesn’t impose quick fixes; she listens and educates. She meets you where you are and guides you to where you’re capable of going. In moments when doubt creeps in, she reminds you that properly fuelling your body is an act of self-respect.
Annie, your impact goes far beyond meal plans and performance. You’ve helped me shape confidence, resilience and a healthier relationship with food. That shift in mindset alone has been transformational.
Thank you for the inspiration, guidance and the unwavering belief in what’s possible when we fuel ourselves the right way.
